. Abstract The transdermal delivery system offers significant advantages over traditional hypodermic needles, and microneedles have emerged as a promising innovation in this field. These micron-sized needles are minimally invasive, making them an attractive alternative for drug delivery and medical applications. This abstract explores recent advancements in microneedle technology, various fabrication methods, and the challenges hindering their widespread adoption. While microneedles hold great potential for improving drug administration, factors such as manufacturing complexities, material selection, and regulatory concerns must be addressed to fully integrate them into mainstream healthcare.
