Abstract The alarming rise of respiratory diseases worldwide has brought attention to the critical need for effective management strategies. Interestingly, our bodies have an innate time-keeping system, known as the circadian rhythm, which synchronizes our physiological processes with the day-night cycle. When this delicate balance is disrupted, lung function can be severely compromised. Fortunately, a promising approach known as chronotherapy has emerged, which involves tailoring treatment to an individual's unique circadian rhythm. By doing so, healthcare providers can optimize the efficacy of medications while minimizing unwanted side effects.
