Abstract

DETERMINATION OF IONIZATION CONSTANTS AND THERDYNAMIC PARAMETERS (ΔG°, ΔH° and ΔS°) OF SOME PARACETAMOL BRANDS WITH SOME METAL IONS BY POTENTIOMETRIC STUDIES

Abstract

The ionization constants and thermodynamic parameters of some brands of paracetamol with some metal ions of (Ni+2, Co+2 and Cd+2) were measured by potentiometric method. The brans od paracetamol containing different additives Paracetamol (Blue), containing paracetamol 500 mg (acetaminophen). Paracetamol (Red) containing paracetamol 500 mg and 30 mg of Caffeine (30 mg). Paracetamol (Yellow) containing paracetamol 500 mg and 30 mg of Pesndophedine 30 mg Hydrochloride. Paracetamol (Green) containing paracetamol 600 mg. Paracetamol (Orange) containing paracetamol 500 mg and 30 mg of Pesndophedine 30 mg Hydrochloride and Chlorophenrinmalat 30 mg. The PH and volume were measured by using potentiometric titration the results recorded that the PH and volume values were changed according to the type and components od selected paracetamole types. The values of ΔG°, ΔH° and ΔS° were determined for each chelate depending on their stability constants.
