Abstract Varicose veins represent a prevalent venous disorder characterized by dilated, tortuous superficial veins, predominantly affecting the lower limbs. Traditional Ayurvedic formulations like Kaishore Guggulu have shown potential in the management of such vascular conditions due to their potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and Rasayana properties. This review explores the pharmacological role of the ingredients of Kaishore Guggulu—namely Guggulu, Haritaki, Bibhitaki, Amalaki, Sunthi, Maricha, Pippali, Vidanga, Danti, Nishotha, and Giloy—in the management of varicose veins, with a focus on their anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and circulatory system-enhancing actions.
