A CASE STUDY OF APAMARG KSHARSUTRA LIGATION IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CHARMAKEELA

. Abstract Warts are usually multiple hyperkeratotic skin patches with finger like projections. This is a benign skin tumour arising from infection with the human pappiloma virus (HPV). They are dry, overgrown projections often painful, tender and disfiguring. According to Ayurveda, this ailment can be compared with charmakeela mentioned in kshudrarogas. There are many treatments in other sciences where rate of recurrence is more. This article highlights the treatment of charmakeela by Ayurvedic line of treatments i.e Ksharsutra ligation.
