Abstract Jasminum grandiflorum, commonly known as spanish jasmine, is a plant species with a rich history of traditional use in medicine, perfumery, and rituals. This comprehensive review aims to provide an in-depth examination of the botany, phytochemistry, pharmacology, and therapeutic applications of Jasminum grandiflorum. The review covers the plant's botanical characteristics, phytochemical composition, pharmacological activities, and traditional uses. The pharmacological activities of Jasminum grandiflorum, including its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound healing effects, are discussed in detail. The plant rich in bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, alkaloids, and essential oils. The review also highlights the plant's potential therapeutic applications, including its use in wound healing, skin conditions, respiratory problems, and digestive issues.
