SCIATICA: A REVIEW WITH HOMOEOPATHIC PERSPECTIVES

Abstract Sciatica is a clinical syndrome characterized by radiating pain along the sciatic nerve, commonly due to compression or irritation of lumbar nerve roots, particularly L4, L5, or S1. This review outlines the etiology, classification, clinical features, diagnostic protocols, and therapeutic approaches in both allopathic and homeopathic medicine. While allopathic management includes analgesics, physiotherapy, and surgery, homeopathy emphasizes individualized remedies based on characteristic symptomatology.
