RECENT ADVANCEMENT IN THE TREATMENT OF HAEMOPHILIA: A REVIEW ARTICLE

. Abstract The objective of this narrative review was to provide an overview that allows readers to improve their understanding of haemophilia. Haemophilia is a rare disorder in which the blood doesn’t clot in the proper way because it doesn’t have enough blood clotting proteins (Clotting factors). If you have haemophilia, you might bleed for a longer time after an injury than you would if you blood clotted property. Which is considered a genetic disorder with a high impact on the life of many people who suffer from this disorder it is considered one of the disorder with the highest expensive for health systems (In many countries like Colombia it is part of the disorder with the greatest economic impact). Although patients with chronic haemophilia usually bleed excessively only after inflammation, trauma or surgery, those with severe haemophilia experience frequent spontaneous or excessive bleeding, particularly into various joints and muscles, after minor trauma or surgery.
