A CLINICAL CASE STUDY ON ROLE OF SHATDHAUT GHRITA IN DURA DAGHDA WSR TO 2ND DEGREE BURN

. Abstract Burn injuries represent a major worldwide public health problem which triggers pain alongside infections along with scarring and functional loss. Medical approaches to burn treatment include antibiotics with dressings and surgical surgical methods. However Ayurvedic medicine provides promising alternatives, Shatdhaut Ghrita is a purified ghee-based formulation processed 100 times with water. Shatdhaut Ghrita's traditional usage and its pharmacological qualities have attracted growing scientific attention putting emphasis on its efficacy. This formulation is well-documented for its cooling, antiinflammatory, and tissue-regenerative properties. This study shows how the use of Shatdhaut Ghrita as a burn treatment resulted in quick wound healing along with minimal scar development during four weeks of application on a Dura daghda (second-degree burn).
