Abstract Due to the rising use of herbal and traditional medicines worldwide, pharmacovigilance—which has historically been linked to modern medicine—is becoming more and more acknowledged as being crucial in the field of Ayurveda. Adverse drug reaction (ADRs) and other drug-related issues are systematically monitored, detected, evaluated, and prevented when pharmacovigilance is used in Ayurveda.
