FORMULATION & EVALUATION OF FACE SERUM CONTAINING FENUGREEK EXTRACT

Abstract

Wrinkle on face and aging of skin are an undesirable effect of photo damage and ultraviolet radiation. Serum has quick absorption and ability to penetrate deep layer of skin as well as non- oily finish and deep formula with high amount of active ingredient. Serum usually contain higher concentration of active ingredient compared to moisturizers. Face serum is light formulation that contain many active ingredient target specific concern and offer many benefit. Serum are considered as sustaining and productive way to advance appearance of skin. Most face serum available today are fear to face and made from both synthetic and herbal remedies. Face serum was tested for it pH, physical appearance, spreadability, viscosity, microbial testing, cyclic temperature test, etc. Fenugreek seeds possess antioxidant effects and contain a mucilage which has emollient properties. It can also produce skin healing, whitening, moisturizing, skin smoothening and antiwrinkle effects.
