Abstract

The disease in which the pitika develop especially on the face of young person (at adolescence age) are known as Tarunyapitika. In modern era many patients suffering from disease Tarunyapitika due to their fast lifestyle, consumption of junk food, fast food, cold drink, late night sleeping habits etc. lead to imbalance of doshas which affect body as well as mind too. As per modern science the symptoms of Tarunyapitika are correlated with acne vulgaris. Acne is chronic inflammatory disease if pilosebaceous unit of certain body areas (face, neck. chest, back and sometimes buttocks). Tarunyapitika like skin disease can managed with Ayurvedic medicine. In this case 20-yearold pt having complaint of Tarunyapitika was treated with oral medicine and some arishta, oil etc we advise some pathyapathy for 3-4 months. At the end of treatment patient got significant improvement.
