A COMPARATIVE CLINICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY OF KUMARI HYDROGEL AND KUMARI GRITHA IN PARIKARTIKA MANAGEMENT

Abstract The pain caused by parikartika which is commonly known to be the fissure in and which is known to be disease most seen among the ano rectal disease, suffered by many of the patients most of the time. The pain demands relief as well irritation caused by the disease are relieved by most of the pain killers and many times ends up with surgeries. So the commonly and easily available drug called Kumari is taken for the study used for formulations like Kumari gritha and Kumari hydrogel. As both are cost effective for preparation patient can easily buy it for physician also it saves the cost effectiveness of treatment. The study was done under two groups (20 each).Both the formulation were studied for management of pain, itching, bleeding, tenderness, constipation etc.. Study shown has revealed significant for both the preparation. Among both preparation Kumari gritha showed better result than Kumari Hydrogel.
