SUCCESSFUL CONCEPTION IN BILATERAL TUBAL BLOCK DUE TO ENDOMETRIOSIS THROUGH AYURVEDIC INTERVENTION – A CASE STUDY
Dr. Aarati Patil, *Dr. Kshitija Berde, Dr. Aishwarya Deshpande
. Abstract Bilateral tubal block is a major cause of female infertility, often associated with inflammation, adhesion formation due to endometriosis, and structural damage of the fallopian tubes. Conventional approaches include Artificial Reproductive Treatment (ART) like IVF, but it is invasive, costly, and not always successful. Ayurveda provides a holistic approach by addressing underlying dosha imbalances, reducing adhesions, restoring tubal function, and enhancing fertility through systemic correction. This case study describes a 38-year-old woman with a 3-year history of secondary infertility, diagnosed with bilateral tubal block due to endometriotic adhesions and the presence of a chocolate cyst, confirmed via laparoscopy. She had previously undergone two unsuccessful IVF cycles. The patient presented with mild dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and irregular menstrual cycles with abnormal bleeding. An Ayurvedic treatment protocol was implemented for six months, comprising the proprietary formulations Srujan, Vayu, Poshini, and Upaja, along with individualized dietary and lifestyle modifications. The treatment led to progressive symptomatic relief, improved menstrual regularity, and conception within six months. This highlights the potential role of Ayurveda in restoring reproductive health and overcoming bilateral tubal factor infertility.
