Abstract

Synthetic biology is a rapidly advancing field that aims to improve crop traits and bio production through engineering principles, utilizing genetic circuits for Targeted modifications. Current developments include improvements and expansions of gene editing tools, creation of new biosensors and diagnostics, bioproduction, synthetic genomes, and computational tools. This review explores the integration of artificial Intelligence with synthetic biology in focusing on approaches like gene editing, multi-omics analysis, and protein engineering. This article provides an overview of the current state synthetic biology highlighting its key applications, challenges and further directions. We discuss the potential of synthetic biology to revoluize industries such as agriculture, pharmaceutical and energy and its rule in addressing global challenges include climate change, disease and food security.
