Abstract Tamaka Shwasa is a disease which is caused due to the derangement in Pranavaha Srotas as described in Ayurveda & closely resembles Bronchial Asthma in modern medicine. It is a chronic respiratory disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of breathlessness, wheezing, and cough. This study explores the clinical features of Tamaka Shwasa, its etiology, pathophysiology, and Ayurvedic management with herbal formulations, Panchakarma therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
