A CASE REPORT ON THE MANAGEMENT OF VATAJA NETRA ABHISHYANDA WITH SHIGRU PATRA SWARAS ASHCHYOTANA: A TRADITIONAL AYURVEDIC APPROACH

Abstract

Abhishyanda is a condition characterized by inflammation and discharge from the eyes, commonly seen in Ayurvedic practice. This case report presents the management of Vataja Netra Abhishyanda using Shigru Patra Swaras Ashchyotana, a traditional Ayurvedic eye treatment. The patient showed significant improvement in symptoms such as redness, itching, and foreign body sensation within one week of treatment. This study highlights the potential of Ayurvedic interventions in ocular disorders and encourages further clinical research.
