Biopharmaceutics plays a pivotal role in the pharmaceutical sciences, focusing on the relationship between a drug's physicochemical properties, dosage form, and biological performance. This discipline is essential in guiding the rational design and optimization of drug formulations to enhance therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance. The integration of biopharmaceutics principles into drug design enables better prediction of pharmacokinetics, improved bioavailability, and more efficient regulatory approval.
