AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC VICHARCHIKA (ECZEMA) OF THE ANKLE THROUGH SHODHAN AND SHAMAN CHIKITSA: A CASE REPORT
Dr. Poonam Khyalia*, Dr. Ravi Sharma, Dr. Komal Kumari
Abstract Background: Vicharchika, a Kapha–Pitta–Rakta predominant Kṣudra Kuṣṭha described in classical Ayurvedic literature, closely corresponds to the modern dermatological entity eczema, characterised by intense pruritus, erythema, scaling, crusting and, in chronic stages, lichenification. Keywords: Vicharchika; Eczema; Virechana Karma; Snehapana; Mahatikta Ghrita. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
