In this study ethanolic and aqueous extracts of both leaves and roots of Ageratum conyzoides Linn. plant were evaluated for their potential to dissolve experimentally prepared kidney stones calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate, by an invitro model. Out of which only ethanolic leaves extract of this plant produced highest dissolution of both stones when compared to standard drug cystone and other extracts at 10mg. concentration.
