GREEN SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF SILVER NANOPARTICLES USING Chrysophyllum canito LEAF EXTRACT
Antony Prabhu Y. and Shamina S.*
Abstract The nanotechnology is the one of the most active research area in the modern material science in present days its emerging enormous features of nanoscience with biology. Biologically synthesis nanoparticles are gives vast applications and its intensifying research area such as water purification, drug targeting, textiles, nanomedicine and diagnostics. The present study was aimed on the synthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticles using Chrysophyllum canito leaf. the Silver nanoparticles were synthesized in 1mM, 3mM and 5mM various concentration the silver confirmation test were characterized by UV, and the Fourier transmitted infra red spectroscopy was taken in Chrysophyllum canito leaf powder provides the sample intensity and functional groups. Eventually the UV spectrum exhibited an absorption peak at 438 nm. The SEM shows the synthesized silver nanoparticles size approximately in 100nm. The EDAX analysis confirms the biological synthesized silver 90.20% percentages of weight, intensity, atomic percentage and other elements 9.8% percentages of weight. Environment friendly silver nanoparticles were synthesized by green chemistry using Chrysophyllum canito leaf. Keywords: Chrysophyllum canito leaf, Silver nanoparticles, UV, FTIR, SEM and EDAX.
