Abstract

The present study designs and utilizes a dripping system for cultivation of oyster mushroom Pleorotus sps. in an economic manner for self employed and small scale businesses. The technique provides a system for easy control on temperature and humidity. This may make the oyster production throughout the year what would be beneficial for small scale industries. With good nutraceuitical value and medicinal importance this could be used to alleviate poverty and malnutrition. This is also the best utilization of agricultural waste what is burnt generally and causing various pollution problems.
