Abstract

AEROSPORA STUDY OF CULTURABLE FUNGI OF UNIVERSITY CAMPUS AREA OF NAGPUR

Abstract

Aeromycoflora studies of indoor & outdoor environment of Mahatma Jotiba Phule Campus, RTM University Nagpur were carried out from January 2008 to December 2009 using culture plate Method. A total of 14 Fungi on PDA nutrient medium were recorded of which Aspergilli (19.49%) Cladosporium (14.94%), Alternaria (13.98%), Curvalaria (9.63%), Nigrospora (9.03%), Penicillium (7.70%), Basidiospore (3.37%), Chaetomium (4.92%) were dominant.
