AN OVERVIEW ON ANTIASTHAMATIC DRUGS

Abstract

Asthama are chronic inflammatory diseases of the airway.Asthama is a clinical syndrome that increased hyperresponsiveness with subsequent remodelling. Asthama is classified according to the frequency of symptoms such as peak flow rate, forced expiratory volume in one second, In severe cases intraveneous Corticosteroids, anti-IgE Humanized monoclonal Antibodies, mast cell stabilizers. In long term medicines prevent attack as cromolyn sodium, Methylxanthines. The immunotherapies are available in the allergy shots and sublingual tablets.
