DEVELOPMENT OF DRY SYRUP FORMULATION
Ankita Jaiswal, Arun Patel, Shailendra Patel, Neeraj Kaurav and Neelesh Devedi
Abstract The objective of present work was to explore the novel application mixed solvency mixed solvency technique in the formulation of dry dosage forms of poorly soluble drug and to minimize the toxic effects of solubilizers by reducing the concentration of individual solubilizer (used for solubility enhancement). In the present study, poorly water insoluble drug cefixime was selected. Cefixime was tried to solubilize by using solubilizers which were physiologically compatible in an attempt to prepare its oral liquid formulation (dry syrup). Keywords: mixed solvency, dry syrup, Cefixime. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
