LUNG INFECTIONS MIMICKING CANCER: ANTIBIOTICS EFFICIENCY

Abstract We present two cases of lung infections simulating cancer. Initial clinical symptoms, chest radiographs and computed tomography images were suggestive of malignancy. CT-guided thoracic biopsy surprisingly established pulmonary infections, tuberculosis in the first case and actinomycosis in the second.
