Abstract
Aim: The study was carried out to determine the Outlook of Widal and
Malaria Parasite among Patients attending Kogi state specialist
Hospital, Lokoja, Kogi State. Materials and Method: A total number
of one hundred and twenty (120) patients were sampled for widal and
parasites infection. 3ml of the blood sample was obtained by
Venipuncture from each patient using a sterile needle and syringe and
poured in Ethylene-diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) bottle. The blood
sample obtained from each subject was analyzed within 1 hour of
collection for malaria parasites and Salmonella species. Result and
