Abstract

A STUDY OF EFFICACY OF PATHYA GHRUT IN MADATYAYA

Abstract

Madatyaya is a disorder produced by madya. The properties of Madya are similar to visha and exact opposite to oja. Due to madya, many symptoms are noted Mada, Moha, hrudvyatha, aruchi, trushna, jvara, etc. Chakradutta has mentioned Pathya gruthato treat Mada. In order to find the efficacy of Pathya grutha against the common symptoms developed due to Madatyaya, this study was conducted. 60 diagnosed patients at rehabilitation centre were included in this study. Assessment was done and the study showed moderate improvement with Pathya grutha.
