Jayanthi K., Kavitha K., Jayanthi J., Ragunathan M.G. * and Kumaran, T.
Abstract The importance of antioxidant constituents in maintenance of healthattracted research in plant based antioxidants. Presence of secondarymetabolites like flavonoids and phenolic compounds and antibacterialactivity leads to the evaluation of antioxidant activity of extracts. In thepresent study H. enneapsermus stem and root were made into finepowder and extracts were prepared using ethanol solvent. Total Phenolcontent was estimated using Folin-Ciocalteau method and Totalflavonoid content was estimated using Aluminium Chloride method. The results were tabulated. Keywords: Hybanthus enneaspermus stem, Total Phenols, Total Flavonoids. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
