Abstract Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis or hemophagocytic syndrome is a rare but potentially fatal hematological disorder of normal but overactive mononuclear phagocyte system that commonly appears in infacy, although it has been seen in all age groups which include fever, hepatosplenomegaly, pancytopenia, lymphadenopathy and rashes occuring as either a familial disorder or a sporadic condition.[4] Keywords: Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, Hemophagocytic Syndrome, Hematological Disorder, Familial Disorder, Sporadic Condition.
