Abstract
Dengue, a viral disease presently having neither effective antiviral
chemotherapy nor approved vaccine. Therefore, designing new
scaffolds against dengue virus replication is an important aspect for
researchers. Tetracyclic compounds were known to exhibit antidengue
activity. Hence we perform the docking studies on designed tetracyclic
derivative, oxazino [2, 3-a] isoquinolines against dengue virus
NS2B/NS3 protease. The hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic interactions
and Van der Waals forces between designed compounds with Lys74,
Trp83, and Leu149 amino acid residues of the NS2B/NS3 protease is
also discussed.
